Please briefly introduce yourself: What is your name? In which department and at which site do you work? What is your job title?

My name is Aneta Miksza and I work at Austria Juice Poland in the plant in Chelm as the head of the quality department.

Why did you decide to work in a technical profession?

I chose this technical profession due to the fact that I have always been interested in working in a laboratory. It also requires good planning, analytical thinking, accuracy and patience. I think that everyone should develop in a direction in which they feel comfortable and they should enjoy their work.

Which aspects of your everyday working life in a technical profession interest you most?

It's a great job for many reasons. First of all, it is extremely interesting because it requires a lot from me, but also gives me opportunities for continuous development. Secondly, as in most positions, there are periods of very intensive work, but I like to take on new challenges and commitments. Finally, I value the people who I work with every day. They all make up a good team and, thanks to them, I feel that I am doing well. I think I am developing in the right direction.

Can you share with us a tip why women should decide to work in a technical position?

I know that women have great potential because they are extremely well organised. Working in the field of technology requires, above all, commitment to what we do. Our team always supports women who have not yet got experience but who are willing to learn.
