Internship Mechanical Engineering in the Division Sugar

Why did you choose AGRANA for your internship?

I was interested in AGRANA because I had already seen a beet delivery and the trip to work is very short for me. Also, the payment is not bad.

How did you apply for the internship? How was the application process set up?

I sent my application (covering letter and CV) January by e-mail to "Recruiting Tulln". I then received a message saying that my application will be held on file and I would be contacted again in spring. I was successful and sent my documents by mail to HR management. Then I also got the contract.

Shortly describe a typical working day within your intership at AGRANA. What were your main tasks?

Start was at 6:45 in the morning. It was very varied, so not typical. I was able to learn a lot, especially when I changed the bearings and lubricated the “soil separator” or when I did assembly work for the lime kiln.

What did you like most about your internship?

The varied work was fun and colleagues were always there when I needed help.

What kind of experiences can you take with you from the internship at AGRANA?

All in all, the assembly work for various devices was the greatest experience for me, because the theory at school is often different.

Would you recommend an internship at AGRANA? Why?

Yes, because as mentioned the work is very varied.

What advice would you give future interns?

If you show an interest in something, then work can be fun!
